Please join me for a Public Information Meeting Thursday, September 28, 2023 virtual Meeting over Zoom-Knutson Drive project.

The City of Madison is planning a 2024 reconstruction project on Knutson Drive (Green Avenue to Northport Drive), along with resurfacing on Knutson Drive (Heffernan Drive/Beilfuss Drive to Green Avenue) and Green Avenue (Harper Road to Knutson Drive). This project may include changes to street use, especially for the portion between Green Avenue and Northport Drive. The proposed reconstruction project will include a new street design with curb and gutter, sidewalks, and driveway aprons. Replacement of the asphalt pavement and gravel base. Sanitary and sewer will remain. The project will add storm sewer and stormwater features for controlling surface runoff.  
City Engineering will host a public informational meeting Thursday, September 28th to present details related to this project. The public is encouraged to attend to learn about the project limits, the existing conditions, speed and parking studies, and the City’s Complete Green Streets guidance and Vision Zero initiative. During the meeting, attendees will be able to ask questions verbally or typed through the question window.  The meeting will also be recorded, and the recording will be posted to the project page and available for viewing by anyone unable to attend.

The City would like to receive additional input from the neighborhood on several items related to the project design and specific to your individual property, so we have put together a questionnaire, and a link to it is posted on the project website.
