North-South BRT Route Public Meeting on Thursday, November 2

posted

Please join me for a in-person meeting about the second BRT route -the North-South line- on Thursday Nov. 2 at Warner Park Community Recreation Center, 1625 Northport Dr.

The Madison area’s second BRT route—the North-South line—will run from the north side of Madison through the downtown area, to Madison’s south side neighborhoods and ending in Fitchburg. The project team wants to know what the community thinks about station locations, routing on the north and south ends, the location of bus-only lanes, and related roadway, biking, and walking improvements.

Community engagement meetings:

·        5:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1 at Urban League, 2222 S. Park St.

·        5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 at Warner Park Community Recreation Center, 1625 Northport Dr.

·        6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8 on Zoom https://bit.ly/48ywEQC

·        5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 9 at Fitchburg City Hall Council Chambers, 5520 Lacy Rd.
