Community Connection Week of February 9, 2026
postedRemembering Our Neighbor
This past month, our community experienced the loss of a neighbor in a traffic incident on Madison's north side. Every person in our community deserves to travel safely, whether walking, biking, driving, or taking transit. When someone loses their life on our streets, it impacts all of us.
I am currently working with the City's Traffic Engineering Division and Madison Police Dept.to identify solutions that will help prevent future tragedies. Creating safer streets requires collective action—better infrastructure, thoughtful design, and community advocacy. If you have concerns about traffic safety in your neighborhood, your voice matters in shaping solutions.
