Community Connection- Week of April 20th, 2026

posted

Hello neighbors,

Another week brings new chances to show up for each other. Whether it's reporting a downed tree, volunteering at Earth Day, or joining in conversation with city leaders—your voice and your presence matter. Thank you for being part of our community.

Updates & Notices

  • Reporting Tree Damage: If a tree falls and blocks the road or poses an immediate danger, call 911 or 608-255-2345. Dane County Dispatchers will connect you with our on-call arborists. For less urgent concerns, use the report-a-problem tool.
  • Earth Day Challenge: Join neighbors and friends this Saturday, April 25, and help clean up your local park. You'll make a real difference in our shared spaces.
  • Public Health Offices Close Early: On Tuesday, April 21, Public Health offices will close at 11:45 a.m. for a staff event. They'll reopen at 4:30 p.m.
