Raemisch Farm Neighborhood meeting Thursday, May 6th, 6:00-7:00PM

The City of Madison has received a request to rezone the "Raemisch Farm" at 4000-4150 Packers Avenue and 4201 North Sherman Avenue from temporary A (Agriculture District) to SR-C2, TR-C3, TR-V2, TR-U1, and CC-T and preliminary plat creating 124 single-family lots and seven lots for future multi-family or mixed-use development, two outlots to be dedicated for stormwater management, and one outlot to be dedicated for a public alley. 

Please join me, Alder Syed Abbas, developer Joel Oliver from Green Street, and staff from City Planning and City Parks for a virtual neighborhood on Thursday, May 6, 6:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m. to learn more about the request. Green Street's request will be reviewed by the Plan Commission at its May 10 virtual meeting at 5:30 p.m. and by the Common Council at its May 18 virtual meeting at 6:30 p.m. Information on participating in virtual meetings is available at.

Wheeler Rd virtual neighborhood meeting Monday, May 10th, 6:00pm

Please join me for a virtual neighborhood meeting on Monday, May 10, at 6:00pm for an update on the traffic calming surveys that were sent to residents along Wheeler Road.  Speed humps were proposed to residents along  two separate stretches: from Kennedy Road to School Road and from School Road to Delaware Boulevard.  Median islands were proposed from Comanche Way to N. Sherman Avenue. City Traffic Engineering staff will give background information on how we arrived at the surveys, the results of the surveys, and where we go from here.
