Call for Volunteers

I received this request for volunteers this morning:

City staff, along with the National Guard and community volunteers, continue to work to meet the demands for sandbags. 

People who are available to help with sandbagging can fill out the form at: http://www.cityofmadison.com/live-work/extreme-weather/flooding/volunteer-sandbag

Volunteers will be added to an email list, and when a volunteer opportunity arises, the city will send an email or call to get a group of volunteers together to help.

To volunteer for other flood relief efforts, you can sign up to volunteer with the Red Cross.

People can also donate money or goods to Goodwill, Second Harvest Food Bank, and St. Vincent DePaul.
