Spring Harbor Tree Removal Notice from Parks Dept.

I received a notice from the Parks Department regarding a planned tree removal in Spring Harbor Park. The notice provided the following information:

• There is a large dying/hazardous Hickory tree in the southwest corner of the park that Parks Arborists need to remove. 
• In addition, two Box Elders at the corner of Spring Harbor Drive and University Ave are in the Right-of-Way of the street and also need to be taken down. 
• Parks staff will make every effort to replace removed trees with similar species when doing upcoming tree plantings at the park.
