Planned burning at Owen Conservation Park

The following message was received this morning from the Parks Department - 

Please be advised that Madison Parks will also be conducting open burning today at:

Owen Conservation Park

6021 Old Sauk Road, Madison

9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Taylor Houghton will be the on-site contact. She can be reached at (847) 322-3106.

This work is being done to dispose of invasive, non-native shrubs that have been cut to restore the oak woodland at these sites, and allow native plants to flourish.
