Closure at the Intersection of E. Mifflin and N. Few Starting June 19 for 2 Weeks

posted

At 7:00 a.m. on Monday, June 19th, InterCon Construction will close the intersection of East Mifflin Street and North Few Street in order to install underground Madison Gas & Electric utilities.

The closure is expected to last two weeks.

Pedestrian access will remain open through the intersection.  Bikes should use the signed bike detour on East Dayton Street.

See the plan.

This is part of the Madison Gas & Electric underground utility project on East Mifflin Street that includes the three blocks between North Ingersoll Street and North Dickinson Street.  Only one block or one intersection will be worked on at a time.

The East Mifflin Street intersections of North Baldwin Street and North Dickinson Street will also need to close for approximately two weeks each during this project.  The intersection closures will not occur simultaneously.

Additional news releases will be sent as work progresses to different areas.
