Neighborhood Meeting about Tangent, a restaurant/nightclub, proposed for 803 E. Washington Avenue
7:00 June 28, 2018
Festival Foods Community Room
810 E. Washington Avenue

Mark and Trent Kraemer propose to open Tangent, a restaurant/nightclub, at 803 E. Washington Avenue.  The establishment would include a restaurant area, private dining area, bar, and outdoor dining area.  The proposed hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. until bar time, and food would be available from 11:00 a.m. until midnight.  The capacity would be 387 inside and 75 outside.

The Kraemers have applied for a Class B Beer and Liquor License and a 21+ Entertainment License (for possible live entertainment in the private dining area).  The Alcohol License Review Committee will consider their applications at its July 18 meeting.  As this is in the Traditional Employment (TE) Zoning District, Conditional Use approval from the Plan Commission for the establishment itself and for the outdoor seating is also required.

*Consent agenda--The consent agenda includes many agenda items that come to a vote without testimony or Council discussion.  Should anyone register and wish to speak, the item would be taken off the consent agenda.
