HYBRID NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING

PROPOSED REDEVELOPMENT OF

304-318 N. BROOM STREET, 407 AND 431 W. GORHAM STREET AND 408-430 W. JOHNSON STREET

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2023 - 6:30 P.M.

 
Core Spaces proposes to demolish and redevelop the properties located at 304,308,312,314,318 N. Broom Street, 407 and 431 W. Gorham Street and 408,412,414,416,422,430 W. Johnson Street. The proposed project is a student-focused apartment building with 437 units ranging from studios to five-bedroom units, totaling 1,650 beds. The proposed building would be 14 stories on W. Gorham Street and W. Johnson Street and eight stories on N. Broom Street, with commercial uses along W. Gorham Street, and lobby/amenity space along N. Broom Street and W. Johnson Street.  The proposal would include affordable student housing with tentatively 10% of the beds being offered at a 40% discount, per the recently adopted downtown affordable housing ordinance.
