From Wisconsin Athletics:

As part of ongoing facility improvements, Wisconsin Athletics will be replacing stadium light fixtures at Camp Randall Stadium. This work will involve the use of a helicopter to safely lift the new fixtures to the stadium roof from the staging location at the North Practice Field.

Schedule & Impact Details:

• Primary Date: Friday, May 16
• Backup Date: Saturday, May 17 (same schedule)
• 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Work begins on the west (press box side)
• 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Work moves to the east side of the stadium

Street and Sidewalk Closures:

• Badger Way (between Gates 3 and 5): Closed from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM
• Breese Terrace (near the press box): Closed with flaggers managing traffic from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM

Representatives from Midwest Helicopter, Westphal, and UW Athletics will be onsite throughout the operation to notify individuals nearby when helicopter lifts are about to begin and confirm when areas are all clear.
