Week of February 9, 2026
postedDistrict Niners,
One year ago, constituents in district nine were preparing to decide who to best represent and be your voice at the table. Today, I ask you to get engaged, exercise your civic duty by preparing a plan to vote in the spring primary on February 17, 2026. There are a thousand and one reasons to vote. But first, get to know the candidates and vote for those who share your vision for school board, judgeships, county supervisor, etc. Plaster a post-it note on your bathroom mirror or by the door that you exit frequently as a reminder. Remember, if you do not vote, complaining after the votes have been cast is on you.
