2024 Community Development Block Grant Unit- Goals and Objectives/Action Plan

The City of Madison Community Development Division’s CDBG Unit receives federal formula funds annually from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). As a condition of receiving these funds, the City is required to develop a one-year Action Plan that articulates the community development goals on which it will focus these funds. This Action Plan covers the period of January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2024. The City’s CDBG Committee invited the public to provide feedback on the 2024 Action Plan during a public hearing that took place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2024.

Copies of the draft 2024 Action Plan will be available online or by contacting the CDBG Office at cdbg@cityofmadison.com or 608-266-6520 to request a copy.

Comments could be made at the public hearing, scheduled for March 7, 2024, and can still be submitted to the Community Development Division in writing through March 15, 2024, via mail – CDD Attn: Public Comment, PO Box 2627, Madison, WI 53701 or email –  cdd@cityofmadison.com. Comments will be incorporated into discussions for the final Action Plan.
