Where are you stationed?

Station 2 (Grand Canyon Drive) on the 'A' shift

How has your previous education or work experience prepared you for the role of firefighter/EMT for the City of Madison? 

I feel like my previous education and job as a basketball player, and then basketball coach, have helped me develop good people skills and communication with all different and diverse people. It also is a positive aspect in staying in shape and continuing to work out for this job.

In what ways do you see your role within the fire department contributing positively to the Madison community? 

I hope that I can contribute to the city of Madison as a positive role model and make someone's day just a little bit better. I feel I am committed to helping people of the whole community in Madison. 

What do you do when you're not working at MFD? 

If I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. I also am very passionate about hunting and fishing and love to take the time to put effort into those hobbies.
