Vehicle vs. Building Crash at East Side Apartment Complex

MFD responded to 128 Milky Way for a vehicle collision involving a building. The driver was still in the vehicle. 

Engine 13 found an SUV that had been driven into an apartment building. Firefighter/EMTs placed the running vehicle in “park" and turned off the ignition while the driver was still positioned in the front seat. They also placed chocks against the tires of the vehicle to prevent the SUV from moving out of place. 

Firefighter/EMTs roused the driver, and paramedics took over patient assessment. The driver was not taken to the hospital.

The vehicle suffered minor front-end damage, and the apartment complex appeared to have a minor amount of damage to the siding. 

Madison Police officers were on scene and took over the crash investigation.
