Celebrate the Season at the Madison Senior Center

The halls are decked with beautiful wreaths for the Madison Senior Center's Festival of Wreaths display that runs from November 14 through December 9. Donated by Madison area businesses and individuals, the decorated wreaths celebrate the season and raise important dollars to support many Senior Center programs. The popular Classic English Tea will be held on Friday, December 9, from 2-4 pm at the Madison Senior Center, 330 W. Mifflin Street in Downtown Madison. This lovely gathering is sponsored in part by BrightStar and features tea service and delicacies in three courses, which are served slowly, so guests can linger, talk, and enjoy. The Classic English Tea is coordinated by volunteer leaders Sharon Whitney and Ann Done. They make lemon curd and trifle from scratch. Delicacies include English trifle, made from scratch, and lemon curd for the scones. Seasonal music by the Yahara String Quartet provides the ambiance for a very pleasant afternoon. Tickets are $12.00 per person and nonrefundable. Call soon, space is limited. Order your tickets for the Tea no later than Friday, December 2. 608-266-6581. www.MadisonSeniorCenter.org
