Water Wagon travels to area schools for "WOW" events

Madison Water Utility is taking our Water Wagon on the road to visit elementary schools across Madison as part of the Walk or Wheel (WOW) Challenge. We'll be joining Safe Kids Madison Area, MMSD, Public Health Madison & Dane County, Wisconsin Bike Fed, Dane County Obesity Prevention Collaborative, MSCR and other community partners to encourage kids to get outside and walk or bike to school. Our Water Wagon school tour kicked off last week with a stop at Muir Elementary. Tomorrow morning, we'll be handing out water to thirsty students arriving at Chavez Elementary. You can find the complete Water Wagon schedule on our website, www.madisonwater.org. The Water Wagon brings a lot more than safe, refreshing Madison water to our schools. It also brings a message to kids about choosing water to stay fit and focused. Stay hydrated and stay healthy!
