Fatal Vehicle Crash on South Midvale Boulevard

Madison Fire responded to a single-vehicle crash on South Midvale Boulevard, where a vehicle struck a tree in the center median at a high rate of speed.

One person was found trapped in the front of the car. That individual did not survive their injuries from the crash.

Three other people were standing or sitting outside the vehicle when MFD arrived. All three people were treated by MFD firefighter/paramedics and transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The Dane County Medical Examiner was called to the scene. Madison Police is investigating the crash. MFD cleared from the scene at 2:03 AM.
