Conservation Park Tour | Cherokee South
Event Description
Join us for a free walking tour led by Conservation Parks staff. Cherokee Marsh's South Unit has a long and extensive history of human alterations to the landscape. Yet, it still provides a wide variety of habitats and flourishing natural communities. We will read the land as we tour the park and discuss some of the challenges and strategies employed to restore and maintain this important natural area. This is a Parks conservation staff lead special educational walking tour.
