posted

Hello District 18,

This week brings a mix of city meetings, public input opportunities, and plenty of ways to get outside before summer winds down. Whether you want to weigh in on a neighborhood reconstruction project, learn about flooding solutions in the Door Creek watershed, or spend an evening listening to live music, there is something here for you. Read on for ways to stay connected and participate.

City Services

  • Labor Day is Coming Up – Do You Know Your Collection Schedule? Don't let the holiday trip up your trash and recycling pickup. Get your collection schedule from the Streets Division so you know when to put your carts out. We'll mail a paper copy too, if you'd prefer — just contact our office.

Boards, Commissions & Committee Meetings

Below is a selection of meetings taking place this week. A complete list is available on the City Meeting Schedule page.

  • Common Council – Discussion | Monday, August 24 | 5:00 p.m. | Virtual

The discussion topic is the City's approach to recent protests and the subsequent re-opening of Williamson & Baldwin St.

Agenda items include Metro Transit's December service changes.
