John Nolen Drive Traffic Pattern Changes Active Through Spring 2027

Starting at 6:00 am on Tuesday, September 1, the left turn from southbound Broom Street onto John Nolen Drive will close to facilitate the remaining construction activities and improve safety at the intersection for all users.

This traffic configuration will remain in place through the winter and into spring 2027. 

No southbound Broom Street left turn onto John Nolen Drive starting September 1 and lasting into spring of 2027.

Details

  • This turning movement was originally closed during construction but temporarily reopened while North Shore Drive was closed. 
  • With North Shore Drive reopened, the left turn from Broom Street onto John Nolen Drive will reclose.
  • The left turn from John Nolen Drive onto North Shore Drive will remain closed.
  • The existing Capital City Trail detour will also remain in place.
