This week brings a big milestone for the northeast side, a citywide challenge worth joining, and a couple of proud moments for our young writers. Whether you're marking your calendar for a ribbon cutting, logging a new way to get to work, or just catching some live music, there is something here for you. - Try a New Way to Get Around – Join the Smart Trips Challenge. With fall routines and the new school year beginning, September is a great time to try a different way of getting around – bike, bus, carpool, or walk. The challenge is free and open to anyone age 18 or older who lives or works in Dane County, with chances to win weekly and grand prize drawings. - Stoughton Rd. Redesign Public Information Meeting | Thursday, September 3 | In-Person
Alder Derek Field of District 3 and Alder Sean O'Brien of District 16 are hosting an in-person public meeting on the Stoughton Rd. Redesign. City Planning and Transportation staff will provide information about the project, followed by a question-and-answer session.
