Online
You can pay online with a credit or debit card, or with a checking or savings account (eCheck).

In Person
You can pay in person at the cashier window at the Municipal Court Office when the court is open to the public. Please silence all electronics while you are at the window.
You can pay by cash, check, money order, and Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card.

Dropbox
You can put your payment in the dropbox at the City-County Building. The dropbox is at the Martin Luther King Jr Blvd entrance.
Write "Madison Municipal Court" on the envelope. Include your name, date of birth, phone number, and citation number with your payment.

Request Help
If you cannot make a payment or follow other court orders, you must contact the court before the due date.
- If you need more time to pay, you can request a payment plan.
- If you cannot pay, you can request community service.
Missed Payments
There can be serious consequences if you do not make your payment. These consequences can include:
- Driver's license suspension
- Vehicle registration suspension
- Referral to a collection agency
- Interception of tax refund
- Arrest warrant
