Common Council Meeting

On Tuesday, the Common Council will hold its last regularly scheduled meeting of the year, covering a number of items of citywide interest. You can find all the details for the meeting here including links to the agenda and to register for public comment. Congratulations to District 15 resident, Megan Miller, for their appointment to the Community Development Block Grant Committee.

Passenger Rail Station Study Kick-off Meeting

On Wednesday, the public is invited to a kick-off meeting around a passenger rail station in Madison. You can find more details and register here. The meeting will include a presentation explaining the project, with opportunities to provide input and ask questions about the presentation and the opportunity to correspond with the elected officials, City Staff, Amtrak Staff, and the project consultant team.

New City Online Payments Portal opens on December 8th

On Thursday, the new online payment portal for Madison Municipal Services (your water bill, etc) is planned to go live. If you had existing auto-pay options, you will have to recreate them. Find out more on the new payment portal here.

Voit Farm Redevelopment Meeting #2

You're invited to a neighborhood meeting where Starkweather Creek, LLC, will share master planning work for the Voit site that integrates feedback from the initial neighborhood meeting. The master planning team and developers will be present at the meeting to facilitate further discussion and answer questions. You have the option to attend the meeting in person or virtually. You can register for the virtual meeting here. If you would like to attend the virtual meeting in person, there will be a connection to the meeting available at the Goodman Community Center Evjue Room. Meeting begins at 6:30pm. 

SASYNA Monthly Meeting

The SASY neighborhood association will also hold its monthly meeting on Thursday at Goodman CC starting at 6:30. SASYNA meetings are open to the public and neighbors are welcome. You can find the agenda (and November minutes) here.
