Bear Development, LLC has acquired and plans to redevelop the property at 3100 E. Washington Avenue (Capitol Auto Credit). The existing structures will be demolished and a five-story, multi-family building constructed. The new building will contain 192 apartments consisting of 86 one-bedroom and 106 two-bedroom units. Parking will be a mix of 89 underground stalls and 53 surface stalls. There will also be 212 stalls of bicycle parking.

An informational meeting to learn more about this project is scheduled for Thursday, November 9, at 6:00pm in the Community Room at Hawthorne Branch Library, 2707 E. Washington Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin.
