June 4th, 2024 Council Meeting: Staff Presentation

Tree care is a multi-agency task involving forestry, engineering, and parks, and it requires collaboration with MG&E. We had representatives from the Streets Division, Urban Forestry, Engineering, and Parks to provide information on how the city has increased efficiency by creating cross-trained positions, stormwater management, street trees inventory, Spongy Moth, Parks Sustainability and Resilience, and the Golf Program Transformation. You can find the full presentation here.

Special thanks to our dedicated and professional staff:

  1. Charlie Romines – Streets Division Superintendent
  2. Sarah Lerner, PLA, LEED AP, ENV SP – Landscape Architect
  3. Ian Brown – City Forester
  4. Eric Knepp – Parks Division Superintendent
