Assessment Notices To Be Mailed Friday, May 16

Property assessment notices will be mailed on Friday and be available on the Assessor webpage Friday evening. The “Open Book” period runs from May 19th – 23rd. During this property owners can contact the assessor’s office with questions, provide information for them to consider, and/or request to file an appeal. Property owners may continue to file appeals May 26th – June 2nd (4:30 p.m. deadline). If that deadline is missed, they may attend the initial Board of Review hearing on June 3rd to file. However, they will need to attend in person to do so. Specific information about the appeals process is on the Assessor webpage.
