Development and other updates

124 E Gorham Street

The proposal by Bruce Bosben of Apex Development will be at Landmarks Commssion tomorrow, August 18th. The applicant has made modifications to their proposal in response to comments from the Commission at the May 19 meeting. I'm generally supportive of this development, especially after the changes, although I would prefer that they include less parking.

305 N Frances and 533 Conklin Place (CORE Spaces)

Core Space's has submitted their formal land use application for this project at the site of the Saxony apartments. The project is currently slated for Urban Design Commission on 9/17 and Plan Commission 10/6. The CSM (lot combination) is scheduled for Council on 10/7. Because this project is adding additional stories in exchange for providing affordable housing, there will also be a Land Use Restriction Agreement (LURA) that will come before Common Council. I believe that will also be at the 10/7 meeting but I will need to confirm as staff work with the applicant to finalize the details.

117-125 N Butler Street

This proposal by Cliff Fisher for a 73 unit apartment building was approved by Plan Commission last week. This is similar to a proposal from a few years ago, although Bruce reapplied to receive additional stories in exchange for providing affordable housing. The demolition permit had been previously approved by Plan Commission.
