• Yard Waste Collection: Look up your set out dates for leaf and yard waste collection
• TOD Zoning Overlay Update: The Housing Policy Committee meeting on Tuesday, November 18, will consider several ordinance amendments that update the Transit Oriented Development Zoning Overlay ordinance (Legistar 90552) and pro-actively re-zone several properties within District 19 (Legistar 90553 and 90554). The Plan Commission takes up these items in December.
• Winter Alternate Side Parking: Enforcement of Madison’s winter alternate side parking rules go into effect when the Streets Superintendent declares a plowing operation or snow emergency and continues until March 15, 2026. Follow the link to see adjustments to the policy and to sign up for alerts.
• Beltline Study: WisDOT invites you to a virtual public involvement meeting for the Beltline Planning and Environment Linkages (PEL) study. The purpose of this public meeting is to present and gather feedback on the Preferred Strategy Package and the information included in the Draft PEL Summary Report.
  • This public input will help to identify potential long-term solutions to address local and regional safety, accessibility, operational and infrastructure concerns along the Beltline corridor between US 14 in the city of Middleton and County N in the town of Cottage Grove. We encourage your participation in this important study to evaluate long-term improvements to the Beltline corridor.

• Southwest Area Plan: The Southwest Area Plan web page has been updated to show the dates it will be discussed at various boards, commissions and committees.
