New Snowplow Trading Cards Now Available!
The City of Madison is proud to present a new set of trading cards featuring our named snowplowing fleet.
The cards are available for free at any Madison Public Library location and from the Streets Division offices while supplies last.
About the Cards
To celebrate the work of our snowplows and our operators, we’ve once again turned the winning names into trading cards.
The cards feature each of the plow vehicles you helped name along with some details on the back.
Each card also has an important salt use fact provided by Wisconsin Salt Wise, which partnered with the City to help us name the plows. Salt spread on roads, sidewalks, driveways, and paths makes the water in our lakes saltier. All of us have a shared responsibility to be wise with our salt use to ensure we’re using the correct amount in the winter.
