Garrison, Lindbergh, Buena Vista Construction

Beginning Monday, May 21st, City Engineering along with Speedway Sand and Gravel will begin reconstruction of the following three streets: Garrison Street, Buena Vista Street, and Lindbergh Street. This will require the closure of the following streets: 1. Garrison Street, from Atwood Avenue to Emmet Street; 2. Lindbergh Street, from Fair Oaks Avenue to Garrison Street; 3. Buena Vista Street, from Fair Oaks Avenue to Garrison Street. As part of this project, a sewer crossing of the Capital City Bike Trail at Garrison Street will be necessary. A temporary bypass will be built while this work is going on. Bicyclists are asked to walk their bikes at this crossing. The Bike Path disruption is expected to last through Thursday, May 24th. Traffic impact on adjacent arterials should be minimal with this project, which is expected to last two months. ####### ___________________________________________________ David C.
