Drake Street and S. Randall Avenue Constructionq

Beginning Monday, May 21st, City Engineering along with Speedway Sand and Gravel will begin reconstruction of Drake Street and S. Randall Avenue. Speedway Sand and Gravel will be replacing the sanitary sewer, pulverizing, shaping and paving the pavement. This will require the closure of the two streets: 1. Drake Street, from Grant Street to Mills Street; and 2. S. Randall Avenue, from Vilas Avenue to Drake Street. Access to all businesses will be maintained. Sidewalk on at least one side of the streets will be open at all times. Motorists are encouraged to use different routes to avoid delay during this project.
