Upcoming Council Meeting

The council agenda for this week includes file 90986, titled “Assessing costs associated with mutual aid responses provided by Madison Police Department for the purposes of recouping extraordinary expenses.” 

I introduced this resolution to raise awareness of both the pursuit practices of the Monona Police Department and our own policies, which align with the National Standards set by the Department of Justice (DOJ). 

Regarding the financial aspect of this resolution, it is important to understand that Wisconsin State Statutes allow municipalities to invoice each other under certain circumstances.
