Madison LakeWay (Lake Monona Waterfront) Meeting
postedAs part of the Madison LakeWay (Lake Monona waterfront) development initiative, Madison Parks is seeking input on the final design considerations of the proposed lakeshore and path improvements along the John Nolen Drive causeway. The area under consideration spans 0.6 miles of public lakeshore and is the first phase of implementation for the Madison LakeWay.
You are invited to attend a public meeting to review the latest design for future waterfront improvements on Monday, February 2 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom. You can join the virtual meeting using your computer, smartphone, or tablet, or you can listen in via telephone. You will receive login information after registering at this link.
During the virtual meeting, Parks and design team representatives will share an update on the project schedule and review design refinements made to align the project scope with available funding. The project is entering the construction documents phase, with construction anticipated to begin in 2027. Madison Parks is working closely with other City agencies to coordinate these improvements with the John Nolen Drive reconstruction project.
