Construction is complete at Burr Jones Park!
Improvements to the park include a new parking lot, improved athletic fields, additional bicycle parking, a new basketball court and the addition of an athletic field lighting system.
The Parks Division held a series of public meetings to review and discuss the proposed park amenities in early 2019. The improvements were also reviewed by the Urban Design Commission and Landmarks Commission prior to public works bidding.
Below are the final plans for the pending improvements.
Construction operations began on September 16, 2019, and completion is anticipated by May 31, 2020.
