Madison Police were dispatched to the intersection of Lewon Drive and Black Oak Drive on reports of two suspicious persons running through backyards, checking vehicles and house doors.
Officers spotted two subjects wearing face masks and gloves while riding bikes. Both fled. Police found one of the bikes abandoned, along with a shoe and a handgun.
With the assistance of multiple agencies, an 18-year-old suspect was located and arrested. The second suspect remains at large, and the case remains under investigation.
Callum M. Mutch, 18, is in the Dane County Jail on a resisting charge.
