Criminal Intelligence

The Criminal Intelligence Section is staffed by four Intelligence Officers and one Sergeant. The mission of the Criminal Intelligence Section (CIS) is to provide investigative support for all ISB specialty units, assist with investigative support for significant patrol operations and major case investigative command posts. CIS also organizes and disseminates intelligence and information across all aspects of the Madison Police Department to aid in early detection and prevention of criminal activity.
