On Friday, March 26th, the Madison PD conducted an enhanced traffic enforcement project looking for drunk drivers. The alcohol traffic safety initiative took place on the Beltline from 9p-1a.
Officers conducted a total of 19 stops for speeding. All vehicles stopped were traveling at least 16 MPH over the speed limit (55 MPH on the Beltline).
