This afternoon an Officer from the Traffic Enforcement and Safety Team (TEST) monitored speed in the 800 block of E Washington Ave - the same location of the fatal MV/Pedestrian crash last week. During the short enforcement period the officer made three stops for vehicles traveling at least 20 MPH over the posted speed limit. The same Officer attempted to stop a fourth vehicle for running a red light at the same location. That vehicle fled from the traffic stop.
Last week there were two fatal crashes on E Washington Ave - please slow down.
