Public Information Meeting - Kestrel Park Development - Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM

Last year, the City of Madison Parks Division completed a Park Development Plan for Kestrel Park. The Board of Park Commissioners approved this plan on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. Parks has allocated funding to implement the plan in 2024, which will include the construction of a playground and community patio area. Additionally, the plan focuses on establishing the recommended ground cover vegetation. 

Parks has announced two public meetings as part of their design development process. The first meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, February 22, 2024, at 6:00 PM to introduce the project and allow residents and park users to share their thoughts and ideas. Based on the feedback received, Parks will prepare the plans and present them for review and feedback at a second public meeting. Both meetings will be held virtually, and members of the public are asked to register to receive a meeting link through email.
