
Meeting & Event Highlights for the Week of January 16th

- January 10, 2023 meeting. This in-person meeting was hosted by the Univerity Hill Farms Neighborhood Association. City staff were invited to present and answer questions on TOD Overlay Zoning. While this was not a City meeting, it was recorded by Alder Tishler (YouTube Link) and is being made available for those who are interested. Univesity Hill Farms Neighborhood Association also created a companion website for the meeting that contains addition resources and information about the TOD Overlay. https://www.hillfarms.org/tod-overlay
- January 12, 2023 meeting. City staff presented background information on TOD Overlay Zoning and answered questions in a virtual meeting. Presentation slides are available, as is chat from the meeting (note that questions were answered by staff for those who raised hands in the meeting, not via chat).
Holiday Hours and Office Closures
City administrative offices, including the Common Council Office, will be closed on Monday, January 16, in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. All emergency services will be open; please call 911. Use Report-a-Problem for non-emergencies that can wait until the next City working day.
Meetings
The Common Council will meet in hybrid format at 6:30pm on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023. Agenda includes appointing Barbara Vedder as District 12 Alder; commemorating Jan. 27th as International Holocaust Remembrance Day; amending Chap. 28 of the Madison General Ordinances to implement the TOD Overlay District; & more.
