Board of Public Works: The Board of Public Works will meet in virtual format, Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 4:30 PM. Agenda items include updating Madison General Ordinances to create a Transportation Commission as well as add the Green Streets initiative to the responsibilities of the Transportation Commission.
Common Council Executive Committee: The Common Council Executive Committee will meet in virtual format on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 5:30 PM. Agenda items include creating a section of the Madison General Ordinances relating to resolutions honoring outgoing alders or leadership.
Housing Strategy Committee: The Housing Strategy Committee will meet in virtual format on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 5:00 PM. Agenda items include amending supplemental regulations within Section 28.151 MGO and definitions within Section 28.211 of the Madison General Ordinances to update definitions of "Family".

- Bird & Nature Adventures | Edna Taylor: Join a naturalist for an easy family-friendly walk from Aldo Leopold Nature Center into beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park and enjoy a bit of nature education along the way. Walks through the Edna Taylor Conservation Park are held on the 4th Saturday, 10-11:30am of each month and begin at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, 330 Femrite Drive. Meet outside at the Children's Shack.

- Child and Youth Programming (Out-of-School Time) Survey: This survey is designed to gather feedback from the community about out-of-school time programming for children and youth (i.e. afterschool and summer activities). It is designed to take 5-10 minutes. The Community Development Division (CDD) of the City of Madison will use your feedback to inform our upcoming funding process for child and youth programming.
- Starting February 20: Television & Computer Recycling Free at Streets Division Drop-off Sites for Madison Residents: The City of Madison is thrilled to announce that starting on Monday, February 20, 2023 the Streets Division will stop charging recycling fees for televisions, computers, laptops, and monitors.
- City Launches Bilingual Community Connector Program for Increased Language Access and Equity: Enoch Melgarejo and Holly Chen have joined the Department of Civil Rights as Bilingual Community Connectors in the City of Madison's new Community Connector Program, one of the few government programs of this kind in the country.
- Data Shows Significant Decline in Traffic Fatalities and Serious Injuries in Madison for Two Consecutive Years since Initiation of Vision Zero Program: The Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic that created a worldwide heath emergency also brought a traffic safety crisis to the United States, and to Madison.
- Isthmus Safety Initiative Aims to Keep Downtown Madison Safe: Public Health Madison & Dane County is leading a new, collaborative approach to preventing crime in downtown Madison.
