About
The Draft Safe Routes to School Strategic Plan presents a vision for increasing walking, biking, and taking the bus to school. This vision is supported by draft recommendations for the City of Madison, the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD), the Wisconsin Bike Fed, and parents and caregivers to carry out to achieve this vision and related goals. The draft Strategic Plan provides program and policy recommendations to provide safe streets, safe campuses, safe behaviors, and a supportive culture that can result in a sustainable and equitable SRTS program.
