COVID-19 Funding Needs Survey

The City of Madison's Community Development Division has funding available to help support City residents to mitigate the impacts of COVID-19. The Madison City Council has directed that this COVID-19 Relief Fund be allocated to (1) eviction prevention and housing assistance; (2) violence prevention; and (3) unspecified COVID-19 relief which could include other programs, activities, and/or resources that mitigate the impact of COVID 19.

We need community feedback to best assist and support the Madison community and to shape this COVID Relief Funds process. Please fill out the brief survey below. Thank you for your time!

DMNA Housing Crisis Fund: Help Stop Eviction of Latinx Families in Madison

The DMNA Anti-Racism Committee is calling on our neighbors and friends to help raise $11K by December 11th so that vulnerable community members throughout Madison can safely maintain their housing this year.  Please join the11 X 11 campaign and give generously in support of the DMNA Housing Crisis Fund to help close the $11K gap by Dec. 11th!

In the midst of widespread suffering, here is an urgent need we can help meet with our resources! With Covid-19 amplifying health and housing disparities, many immigrants are locked out of public assistance.  As winter arrives, the massive need for rental assistance is escalating daily, becoming dangerously urgent.

In Madison, Roots4Change Cooperative / Raices para el Cambio and the Tenant Resource Center are partnering to ensure Latinx residents remain stably housed. More information can be found here:

It is anticipated that Edgewood High School will refer their appeal to the January 19 meeting of the Common Council, which will allow us all to focus on other matters during the holidays.
