On Monday, the City-County Homeless Issues Committee will host an unsheltered homelessness response panel discussion by outreach providers and will also receive an update on the Dairy Drive sheltered campground by MACH OneHealth and Kabba Recovery Services. ECA Meeting
On Tuesday, the Eastmorland Community Association will host its monthly meeting beginning at 7p. You can find the agenda and zoom link here. There will be discussion about the Hi Neighbor newsletter, upcoming spring/summer events, and as well as any items brought forward by neighbors.
Safe Streets Madison Review
On Wednesday, the Transportation Commission will review the first round of potential projects through the new Safe Streets Madison program. You can find documentation on the topic here and a link to the full meeting details including a link to register for comment here.
Metro Transit Network Redesign
I shared information last week on the new proposed Metro transit network. The report, presentation, and recording of last Monday’s meeting can all be found on the project webpage here. There will be public meetings scheduled over the next two months to share more information and to hear feedback from the community.
Winter Bike to Work Day
On Friday, join Madison Bikes to celebrate International Winter Bike to Work Day. Stop in on your way home from work or school and enjoy a warm beverage, a hot fire, and some friendly winter biking conversations. Details here.
Skate Cinema - Space Jam: A New Legacy
On Saturday, at Tenney Park, the Sina Davis Movies in the Park continues. Join us for an evening of ice skating and a movie at Skate Cinema! We'll have fun music for ice skating on the Tenney Park lagoon from 4-5:30pm followed by an outdoor movie! Details here.

Davies St., Dempsey Rd., Maher Ave. - Design work is continuing following feedback received at the January public meeting.

St. Paul Avenue, Ohio Avenue, Talmadge Street, Jackson Street, Lafollette Avenue Reconstruction - The project will be advertised for bids in early-February with construction expected to begin mid-April. Information on construction schedule will be mailed to adjacent residents and posted to this project page once known.

Eastmorland Sidewalk Installation - Planned for construction in 2022

Starkweather Drive/Garver Path - Much of the work has been completed. Some issues will be fixed in the spring and the final path sections in OB Sherry Park will be finished this summer.
