Meeting and Event Highlights for the Week of July 31, 2023

posted

Hi everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Atwood is currently closed and is redirecting through on Walter St. I know there are a lot of concerns about the amount and the speed of traffic. I'm working with Traffic Engineering and the MPD to make sure that we're paying attention to it. Sadly there are too few speed monitors and quite a few projects that need them. We're looking into temporary signs and the police will be keeping an eye on speeding and unsafe driving through out the duration. Please talk to your kids and family about pedestrian and biking safety and please look out for each other.

Here are the ongoing projects.
