So Much Snow! New Updates.

posted

Hi everyone. We got so much snow!  SOOOOO MUCH! I hope you're all keeping warm and safe. Here are some updates that we received.

Snow Plow Update: https://www.cityofmadison.com/residents/winter/SnowIce/snowPlowUpdates.cfm

Snow Plowing will continue. Expect snow on the roads over the next week due to the amount of snowfall and the temperatures we'll be having this coming.

Snow Emergency again tonight.  Park off the street.  If you can’t park on the EVEN side from 1am to 7am you could be ticketed and towed.

You can sign up to get alerts and find out more information here. https://www.cityofmadison.com/news/2024-01-13/snow-emergency-continues-for-evening-of-january-13-2024-overnight-alternate-side

January 12 Make-up Information:   Due to the clean-up from the storm and the shortened holiday week, we cannot make an extra trip back to make up for the homes we could not get to, so we will need to make it up on the next scheduled pickup day, which is January 19.  The one caveat, for west side residents, the entire Friday collection day will have their recycling collected since a portion of that area was not done on January 12 due to the weather.  For the east side on January 19, collection will be business as usual.

I'll continue to do my best to send out updates as I'm able. In the mean time you can subscribed to receive snowplow updates here. Please be well, and keep warm.
