Starkweather Creek Watershed Study - Public Meeting Tonight!

posted

Greetings friends and neighbors,

As you may already be aware, the City of Madison hired a consultant to conduct advanced watershed modeling and planning services for the Starkweather Creek and Olbrich Gardens Watersheds. This is the largest watershed study area in the City, and in some cases, the most complex. I am sharing this information because District 16 is within this study area (see the graphic below).

The first Public Information Meeting for the study will be taking place tonight via Zoom, beginning at 6pm. If you are able, please do consider registering and attending the meeting. Click Here to register to attend.

This Public Information Meeting will mainly be informational – sharing what residents can expect during the watershed study process. Attendees will also be invited to complete a short survey on if, and how, they would like to be involved.

The watershed study webpage can be found here and will be updated throughout the study: https://www.cityofmadison.com/engineering/projects/starkweather-creek-watershed-study.

Best,

Jael
