TODAY is Wisconsin's Spring Primary.  

- Polls will be open TODAY from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

- Vote in-person, or return your own absentee ballot to your polling place in person.

- Visit MyVote.WI.gov to check your registration status, see what’s on your ballot, find your polling place, and find contact information for your municipal clerk. You may register or update your registration at your polling place on Election Day.

Voter photo ID is required to vote. Be sure you have a valid ID for voting! Learn more here.

DISTRICT 17 REMINDER: Neighborhood Meeting today at 6pm:

Acadia Healthcare Company plans to convert the existing two-story office building and a one-story building addition at 2335 City View Drive to create a new 120-bed behavioral health hospital. The office building will become new inpatient units, and the building addition will provide all the necessary support services. The Plan Commission has already granted conditional use approval for the project.

A virtual informational meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at 6pm so you can learn more about the project. You can join the virtual meeting using your computer, smartphone, or tablet, or you can listen in via telephone. Meetings

Board of Public Works: The Board of Public Works will meet in virtual format, Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 4:30 PM. Agenda items include updating Madison General Ordinances to create a Transportation Commission as well as add the Green Streets initiative to the responsibilities of the Transportation Commission.

Common Council Executive Committee: The Common Council Executive Committee will meet in virtual format on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at 5:30 PM. Agenda items include creating a section of the Madison General Ordinances relating to resolutions honoring outgoing alders or leadership.

Housing Strategy Committee: The Housing Strategy Committee will meet in virtual format on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at 5:00 PM. Agenda items include amending supplemental regulations within Section 28.151 MGO and definitions within Section 28.211 of the Madison General Ordinances to update definitions of “Family”.

  • Bird & Nature Adventures | Edna TaylorJoin a naturalist for an easy family-friendly walk from Aldo Leopold Nature Center into beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park and enjoy a bit of nature education along the way. Walks through the Edna Taylor Conservation Park are held on the 4th Saturday, 10-11:30am of each month and begin at the Aldo Leopold Nature Center, 330 Femrite Drive. Meet outside at the Children's Shack.
